Does hora store my Google Calendar data on your servers?
No. hora is a native macOS app and uses Google Calendar directly. Calendar data is cached locally on your Mac for speed and offline resilience.
Why does hora ask for Google Calendar access?
hora needs Google Calendar permission to read calendars, create and update events, manage invitations, and keep the native app in sync with Google.
What should I include in a bug report?
Please include the app version, macOS version, what you expected, what happened instead, and the shortest steps that reproduce the issue.
How fast do you respond?
Support is handled directly by the developer. Critical sync or data-loss issues get priority; other requests are usually handled around build cycles.
Can I request a feature?
Yes. Feature requests are welcome, especially when they explain the real calendar workflow behind the request.
How do I install hora?
You can download the Direct edition from horacal.app and choose a plan in the app, install hora from the Mac App Store, or use it through Setapp. Direct includes a 7-day cardless trial before you choose Monthly, Annual, or Lifetime. Lifetime is a one-time purchase with all current and future features and updates, available with Direct and on the Mac App Store; it is not available through Setapp. Each purchase unlocks the edition where it was made.
How do I request a refund for a direct purchase?
Choose “Paddle refund (direct purchase)” in the support form and use the email address from your Paddle receipt. Add the transaction ID. For Monthly and Annual, say whether you want a refund only or a refund plus cancellation of automatic renewal. Lifetime has no automatic renewal to cancel. Refunds requested within 14 days of a payment, including Lifetime, are granted without giving a reason; later requests are reviewed case by case. Mac App Store purchases are refunded by Apple.
